Marion Sendker is a freelance journalist currently based in Cologne.
She loves stories - spoken on the radio, written for online and print or captured in a photo, a diagram or video. At best, she likes to combine all of those and use the advantages of each way to tell a story.
Marion has previously graduated from the Journalism School of KAS (JONA). She has also just passed the German bar exam and obtained a first degree in law ("Erstes Staatsexamen"), which is the German equivalent to a Masters in legal studies and is followed by the second bar exam. She is specialized on International and Comparative Law and is beyond that interested in Media Law.
Currently, Marion works for radio stations in Germany, such as Deutschlandfunk (ARD) and Domradio and writes for various online and print magazines.
Marion speaks and reads German, English, Italian, basic Turkish and Spanish. She loves to travel and report from where she goes to.
Marion is proficient with several content management systems and programs such as TrackCaster, PremierePro, Photoshop, Lightroom. She knows basic data journalism and is competent in mobile journalism.
She is available for assignments.
